Porcelain fungus climbing the trunk of an old beech in Dunsford Woods, in the Teign Valley. The caps are almost translucent and slightly slimy, and appear each autumn on dead and dying beech.

Lovely to look at, but please don't eat any wild mushroom unless an expert forager or mycologist has confirmed it's safe.
