Two fly agarics in autumn woodland at Skaigh Woods, on the River Taw below Belstone. Their red caps are still flecked with white, with the trees turning behind them. The most recognisable toadstool of all, and poisonous, it appears each autumn under birch and pine.

Lovely to look at, but please don't eat any wild mushroom unless an expert forager or mycologist has confirmed it's safe.
